Imagine School, Elementary Campus, had a Veteran’s Day program honoring all our service men and women. Imagine students and staff invited a family member or friend that is a Veteran. The program began with the Girl and Boy Scouts carrying in the flags, then the Pledge and the choir singing the “National Anthem”. Mr. Walsh, American Legion, shared wisdom so our students can better understand the role of the Veterans. Two emcees, Dr. Steve Black and Mr. Robert “Dug” Stetter, both veterans who work at Imagine, spoke and introduced each veteran. The program ended with all students singing “Nifty Fifty”, (a fun children’s song about the 50 states) and then we all sang “America the Beautiful”. There was also a reception for the Veterans in the school cafe. The pictures below show some of the great parts of our program. Thank you to all of our Veterans for serving our country!
PTO would like to extend a huge thank you to all that participated in the cookie dough and magazine fundraiser. We were able to host a concert for our students today with a special band called Spencer’s Own. They rocked the cafeteria and taught us that we are all beautiful inside and out! Thanks for coming to Imagine School at North Port, Spencer’s Own! We have our PTO President Mrs. Demaio and PTO Vice President Mrs. Johnson posing for a picture with Spencer’s Own.
